  Prices are good but we (incl. a 2yr old) waited about half an hour for assistance with a door after an associate paged someone from that department. We left without getting any help.

  Went to Menards yesterday. Needed help with a price...cuz sign did not seem clear. Ask Menards employee for help. Found one that worked in the department..he helped us said price listed was $ 7.99 for the pkg. It in fact was $42.99 a pkg. I made several suggestions that the price did not seem correct..but the employee insisted it was. Purchased the product 6 boxes ...went home to get our truck as we were in my Acadia...ended up picking kids up from school and time got away from us. 2 hours after our purchase we got a call from Menards... Stating they messed up and price was wrong. My husband went to the store and they would not honor the price quoted and the price that was purchased for. Not impressed with the incompetent management at Menards or the way the situation was handled.

  Often they have 11% rebate on everything, about once every other week. That's the best time to go buy in bulk. Other than that they have fair priced merch, by far my favorite hardware store. Locally recommend Menards for your needs.
