- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆November 14, 2019, by R MOver the years, beginning in 1978, I did a lot of business with Ziggy's. After this news was in the local paper one year and seven months ago I stopped. "After 40 years in the home-improvement business, Ziegler Building Center — better known as Ziggy's — will shutter its Rapid City and Spearfish stores with a liquidation sale starting Thursday." Funny thing they are still operating. I guess Ziegler's word is not that honorable anymore!
